Visitor Parking Regulations

All vehicles parked on the University of Georgia campus must display a valid permit issued by the Department of Parking Services with the exception of vehicles operated by visitors and invited guests that are parked in designated visitor parking.

Visitors may park in any pay lot or pay deck. Visitor lots are represented by the yellow P on the lot or facility sign. There are a total of 6 pay facilities and 2 pay per use machines on campus. All parking deck pay facilities currently accept credit cards. Visit Parking Services located at the Joe Frank Harris Commons building for more information or if you have any questions. Business hours are 7:30a.m. – 5:00p.m. (M-F). Direct inquiries to a Customer Advocate at 706-542-PARK (7275).

No Permit Required

Visitors to campus have three convenient options available for paying for parking Payment methods include cash or check (credit cards accepted at specific locations, please inquire).

Unauthorized Parking Zones

• Fire Lane Zone
• Service Vehicle Space
• Permitted parking spaces only
• Loading Zones
• All spaces restricted by signage

The fine for unauthorized parking in student, faculty or staff parking zones is $40.00.

Visitors with Disabilities Parking

• During enforcement hours both a UGA permit and state issued handicap placard or license plate must be displayed to utilize disabled spaces. Visitors with disability permits must use pay lots where there are disability designated spaces.
• After enforcement hours, disability permits must be displayed to utilize disability parking.
• Any visitor may use Campus Transit to travel to their destination. The routes are available on the Campus Transit website or by calling 706-369-6220.
